Wedding Transport FAQ
How far in advance should we reserve our wedding transportation?
- We recommend booking as soon as your date and venue are secured. Dates fill up quickly, especially during peak Pacific Northwest wedding season from May through October, and fleet availability is only guaranteed once a retainer is placed.
How do payments, deposits, and vehicle changes work?
- Deposit & Final Balance: A 50% non-refundable retainer deposit is required to reserve your date, with the remaining balance due 14 days prior to your wedding. Bookings made within six weeks of the event require payment in full.
- Card on File: A valid credit card is kept on file for all reservations to handle any late-night schedule extensions seamlessly.
- Vehicle Adjustments: Guest counts change, and we completely understand. You can adjust your vehicle selection based on availability, ideally at least 30 days prior to your wedding.
Will Butler coordinate directly with our wedding planner and venue?
- Yes. Our dedicated wedding specialists work 1:1 with your wedding planner and venue site managers to map out exact staging locations, photo outing stops, guest shuttle loops, and grand exit timing.
When will we receive our chauffeur details?
- Complete chauffeur contact information and final vehicle assignments are sent 48 hours prior to your wedding date. On the day of your wedding, our 24/7 local dispatch team remains in constant communication with your primary point of contact.
Can we have champagne or drinks in our getaway car or guest shuttles?
- Yes. Alcoholic beverages are permitted on board as long as a Washington State Banquet Permit ($11) is purchased online through the WA LCB and signed for the chauffeur prior to departure.
Do you provide personalized signage for our getaway car or shuttles?
- Absolutely. We provide customized signage to help guests identify shuttles easily, as well as personalized "Just Married" or custom getaway signage for your grand exit photos.
