More than 30 years ago, two brothers, college students at the time, found themselves at a crossroads.

While managing valet operations at Ray's Boathouse in Ballard, Stuart and Jeremy Butler were informed that the parking service would be privatized, effectively eliminating their roles. Rather than accept the outcome, they chose to create their own opportunity. Within a month, they launched their own company and submitted a competitive proposal that was ultimately accepted.

With that, Butler Valet was born.

What began out of necessity quickly became something much greater. Built on hard work, determination, honesty, integrity, creativity, sacrifice, commitment, and passion, the company steadily grew and evolved alongside the needs of its clients and community.



Today, Butler Seattle has expanded far beyond valet services. In addition to event parking, the company offers transportation services, luxury wine tours, corporate outings, event hosting, and curated resources, providing seamless and high-quality experiences across a wide range of occasions.

At the heart of it all has always been people.

Stuart and Jeremy have long believed that every client has played a meaningful role in the company’s success. From kind words and referrals, to the privilege of being part of milestone celebrations, to becoming a trusted partner for venues and planners, each interaction has helped shape the business into what it is today.



Whether greeting guests at a restaurant, concert, or private event, or safely transporting clients, families, and VIPs, every experience is approached with care and intention.

Both graduates of the University of Washington, Jeremy earned a degree in psychology, while Stuart earned degrees in psychology and political science. Together, they built this business not only out of ambition, but from a desire to create something they genuinely enjoy while making time for what matters most, including family and their shared love of hockey. From the beginning, their vision extended beyond simply providing services. They set out to lead within the industry and strengthen the community around them.

Over the years, Butler has become deeply rooted in the local events community. As the title sponsor and producer of the Northwest Event Show, the Pacific Northwest’s largest industry trade show, Butler continues to play a key role in supporting and elevating the events industry.

More than two decades later, that same entrepreneurial spirit remains. It has been an honor to serve so many incredible clients along the way, and we are grateful for every opportunity to be part of your story.
