Butler Seattle's 30th Anniversary Open House

Butler Seattle • November 7, 2024

In October 2024, Butler Seattle opened its doors to friends, clients, partners, and community members to celebrate a remarkable milestone: 30 years of providing the Pacific Northwest with world-class valet, transportation, and event services. Today, that three-decade legacy of premium hospitality continues to drive everything we do, serving as the foundation for our reputation as the region's most trusted service provider. To celebrate where we are going, it helps to look back at how a small passion project evolved into the premier premier hospitality team in Seattle.

1. Humble Beginnings at Ray's Boathouse

In 1994, Stuart and Jeremy Butler launched Butler Valet at Ray's Boathouse, one of Seattle's iconic waterfront dining destinations in the Ballard neighborhood. From the very first evening, they set the tone that would define Butler Seattle for decades: every guest treated like a VIP, every vehicle handled with the utmost respect, and every interaction infused with genuine warmth and professionalism.

2. Growing Into a Full-Service DMC

As Butler Valet's reputation grew, so did the requests. Clients who trusted the brothers with their valet operations began asking for transportation, event staffing, and logistics coordination. By the early 2000s, Butler Seattle had added luxury transportation, professional chauffeurs, destination management services, coat check operations, and shuttle services to its portfolio.

3. Awards and Recognition

Over 30 years, Butler Seattle has been honored with the NW Meetings + Events Readers' Choice Award and Washington Wedding Day Best Transportation and Best Valet awards — a testament to the deep trust and admiration of both industry peers and the clients they serve.

4. Looking Ahead

As Butler Seattle looks ahead to the next 30 years, the company remains committed to the values that started it all: impeccable service, genuine relationships, and an unwavering dedication to making every guest feel extraordinary.
